Olabanji Adeleye: Client Service Manager

Olabamiji Isaac Adeleye is a graduate of Economics from the University of Ado-Ekiti, a graduate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and also a pioneer member of the Global Marketing Network in Nigeria. He is pursuing his Masters programme in Economics at University of Lagos, Akoka.

He is a client services manager in MarketingMix, an organization he joined in 2006. He has worked on various brands in the MTN portfolio (XtraCool, Xtra Connect, Xtra Pro and Xtra Special) in the capacity of a Project Manager for the past 3years.

Olabamiji currently manages the Unilever PR account for all the home and personal care brands. To his credit, as project manager, he coordinated the PR leg of the 2008 nationwide campaign by Unilever Nigeria Plc for the Omo detergent, culminating in the brand winning the 2008 Consumers Brand Of The Year Award organized by USP.

Before joining the dynamic team of professionals in MarketingMix, he worked with other organizations in different capacities. He was with Infex Consult, Ghana, where as a project executive he was part of the team that successfully organized the 1st Ghana International Auto Show in 1996. He was a peer educator trainer under the UNICEF HIV/AIDS awareness project.

As a member of the Editorial team of M2, a marketing and management publication, published by Brand and Products Ltd, he handled the Brand Analysis pages for over a year, reviewing various brands from a professional point of view, with special interest on the fundamental strengths and weaknesses of brands.
Olabamiji has attended various personal developmental courses within and outside the country. He has traveled wide and coordinated various media events across the country.
